As reported by The Spruce in their article “How to Choose the Best Epoxy Floor Coating,” knowing you have selected a true epoxy is vital to the longevity of your flooring.
“Epoxies do not “dry” in the same way that paints dry—through simple evaporation of water or oil-based solvent. Instead, they cure and harden through a chemical reaction between the two components,” The Spruce said.
